I'm Valentina and I will be your teacher for the Italian cookery course.
Here a brief introduction to me! I started studying cookery in the Italian famous cookery school “il gambero rosso” in 2006. Following completion, I joined the professional Chefs school “A tavola con lo Chef” learning all secrets of food and its preparation specialising in Pastries.
When I moved to Ireland in 2008 I started working as a pastry chef in well-known Galway restaurants then moved into the capital to work in the finest and high standards kitchens. I studied Culinary Art at DIT and set up my own food business in 2014.
My cookery skills have been honed from a very young age, starting when I was just a little girl pulling up a chair to stand beside my mother or grandmother as they prepared Sunday lunches for all the family. However, I developed and perfected these skills by working hard in the industry and training regularly.
For each class you will receive a list of ingredients and recipe.
You will need to bring the recipes and ingredients with you. Is always advisable to have some extra ingredients in case it is needed.
Please bring with you an apron, tea towels, some baking parchment, cling film and containers to bring your cooked dishes at home.
Looking forward to meeting you.
