Terms & Conditions
- Formation of classes will depend upon sufficient enrolments for the class. We will only contact you if your class is not formed.
- Fees, once paid, are strictly non-refundable, unless a class is not formed, in which case you will receive a full refund, after classes commence.
- Unless otherwise stated, course fees cover tuition and use of building only.
- Participants must be over 16 years of age.
- Class schedule/finish dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
- All course participants attend at their own risk. Neither the Minister for Education & Skills nor the Board of Management of the Donahies Community School and their officers accept liability for damage or injury to persons or property, while present in the school or its precincts.
- Clean runners are essential for activities in the gym.
- Smoking is prohibited by law in any part of the school building.
- Day class participants must use designated adult facilities only.
- Cars are parked at owners' risk.
- All participants are requested to respect disabled and reserved parking spaces.
- Please keep up to date on our website and our Facebook page for information regarding school closures.
- Once enrolments have been made class will commence on the advertised start date unless you hear otherwise.
- For online/blended learning classes, email addresses will be shared with tutors/in case of SNA courses College of Progressive Education.
- There is no discount for those who cannot attend all evenings of the course.
- The student on enrolment subscribes to Adult Education regulations and is bound to observe them. The Director/Assistant Director has the right to suspend persons from class and premises as deemed appropriate.
- Places in class are non-transferable unless with the permission of the Director
About our Courses
We run a broad range of adult education daytime and evening classes during the Autumn and Spring Terms. Courses offered include art and hobby classes such as Pottery, Oil Painting, and Bridge; Spanish language classes; exercise classes; computer classes; our ever popular Sewing for All Skill Levels courses; and professional classes which result in qualifications (Special Needs Assistance, etc.). Courses run for 5 to 10 weeks and are open to anybody aged 16 or older (except QQI courses, for which you must be 17 or older on enrolment). The full list of courses can be viewed here.
Enrolling on a class
Classes can be enrolled over the phone (01-8482217), online, by post, or in person by arrangement.
Payments
Your place on a course can only be guaranteed once full payment has been made. A debit or credit card is required to enrol online or over the phone, though cheque payments can be made on the enrolment evening or by post. Please put your card number on the back of cheques.

Online Payments with Easy Payments Plus
Easy Payments Plus is the online payments system which we use to accept debit or credit card payments. When you click on the Enrol Online button on our homepage or elsewhere on this website, you will be taken to the Donahies Community School Adult Education section of the Easy Payments Plus website.
You will be prompted to register with your email address and password the first time you use this system. Follow the instructions on the screen to select the appropriate items(s) and enter your card details when prompted. You will receive a receipt via email for every payment you make. Once registered, you can log in to your account at any time and look at payments you have made.
All payments processed using EPP are done using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology which ensures the security of the transaction as it is being processed. All payments are processed by a PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant payment processor, which ensures all card holder data is managed securely.

We fully respect your right to privacy and will not collect personal information/personal data about you when you visit our website unless you choose to provide that information using any of the “contact methods” or by joining our “mailing list”. Why we ask for your contact details
When enrolling on a course, you will be asked for your contact details. We do not distribute or sell these details to anybody outside of the Donahies Community School Adult Education programme. Your address is gathered to validate your credit card details, and gives us some idea of where participants come from (which helps us to promote our courses). Your mobile number is used should we need to contact you for any reason. If classes are cancelled at short notice for any reason (e.g. tutor illness; snow), we will send you a text message. A receipt for your payment will automatically be sent to your email address. Teachers also use their class email lists to distribute information. We may also, from time to time, send you emails or text messages to remind you the enrolments are open. All personal information is collected and stored in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
Refunds
All our courses are non-refundable, unless there are insufficient numbers for the class to form. A small number of classes do not form each term, and in such cases, students who have enrolled will be notified and can either transfer to another class or be offered a full refund. There is no discount for those who cannot attend all evenings of the course.
Closed days
Classes do not run on bank holidays.

Finding us
We are located on Streamville Road, Grange, Dublin 13, 10 minutes drive from the M50 and M1 motorways. The school is served by Dublin Bus routes 27, 27A, H1 and N6. Alternatively you can take the Dart to Raheny (20 mins walk, or take H1 bus) or Howth Junction (15 mins walk).
