Crochet - Beginners

​Would you like to learn a new skill? Crochet might be exactly what you are looking for. It is quick & fun.
In each class you will learn...
​
1. How to crochet a new stitch.
2. How to read the pattern you are working on.
3. How to read crochet symbols.
4. How to read a crochet diagram.
5. How to block your work.

The 1st 6 classes will focus on a different crochet stitch in a square pattern.
The last 4 classes you will learn how to join your squares, crochet a border and make the tassels to finish off your 1st crochet project.
2 crochet hooks - 4mm & 4.5mm and 100g ball of double-knit wool required for first class

Crochet - Beginner Continuation

​10 weeks

This course is suitable for students with knowledge of the basic crochet stitches including double crochet, half treble, treble and magic ring & would like to improve their skills.   In a relaxed environment you will learn how to use new stitches, how to join using different techniques & finishing off. You will also learn how to read diagrams (if you can’t already).  Students should bring along their own project to work on.  Materials are not included, please remember to bring along any materials, hooks etc. that you may require for the class.

CROCHET CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS WORKSHOP (IMPROVERS)

Come join our Christmas crochet workshop! A variety of Christmas cotton crochet decorations to choose from on the day eg. a candy cane, a swirl and for those a little more accomplished in the art of crochet a star or a Santa hat.  Materials included, please remember to bring along your crochet hooks!!
