Yoga for Beginners
Monday 7.45-9.00pm
Tutor: Lynda Forrester
Yoga teaches us to reconnect with ourselves and the world around us. My class is a peaceful space to help you unwind in body and mind. My focus is Hatha Yoga with a gentle flow, and I use a combination of yoga poses, breathing techniques and relaxation. Students of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to join.
Please bring your own mat and blanket. All other yoga props supplied.

Sharon’s beginner yoga class with mindfulness combines foundational yoga poses with mindful awareness, creating a holistic experience for newcomers. The class focuses on basic postures, alignment, and breathing techniques, making it accessible and safe for beginners. Throughout the session, Sharon emphasises mindfulness, guiding participants to stay present, tune into their breath, and become aware of sensations in their bodies. This approach helps build physical awareness and mental clarity, reducing stress and fostering relaxation. By the end, students leave with a sense of calm, grounding, and an introduction to the mind-body connection in yoga. Mat & blanket required.

What would it be like to trust and empower yourself through a kindness based yoga practice? A class focusing on regulating the nervous system through somatic movement. Become aware, awake and alive through conscious experience of the body…. feeling at home in your own skin by sensing the body from the inside out. No yoga experience required. Remember, if you can breathe, you can do yoga. Suitable for all levels. Please bring your own mat and blanket. All other yoga props supplied.
